I'm having trouble keeping up decent revenue later in the game. I've found that conducting trading missions while managing an attack fleet is too time consuming. Mineral platforms only produce a couple of tons a day and it seems that putting ships on trading missions just isn't all that profitable. Any suggestions on how I can keep a decent income once trading mission aren't as feasable?

If youre talking about those stones flying in space, dont bother collecting them, they can be bought. As for those bars of things you earn when trading(i dont know how to spell it), conquere a few planets and you got them flooding in.

hail around until you find a ship that is selling the same as its buying then keep buying/selling untill you get bored or have a zillion bars, not sure if this bug is in the offline version, but definaterly on newgrounds ;)

The following ways arethe absolute best and efficient way of making money:
1: Whomever you start with (I prefer the Romulans), immediately find a planet which sells your starting ship. Once there, sell all your wespons and antimatter and buy the same ship again, Repeat this process until you have enough for the next ship up. The ship you buy should have a couple of weapons not 1. Repeat again. Eventually you will have millions at your disposal. I got up to 2 mil in 30 minutes ^_^
2: Get a ship with large cargo and do cargo runs and/or trading missions. Start with something like a Vulcan C'tchia. This is a lot slower than the previous way, but it is still good
If you cheat, do the following:
Do the maxlat cheat first, then maxdur. Sell all the deuranium to get 999,999 latinum bars at a time. This is good if you want to get the Dyson Sphere really really quickly.
Well there go your money troubles.
