In the main forums Vex said there will be a hint in the game where the Dyson People came from. I think the Dysons came from the Vex system since their wormhole generator leads to Vex.

just a though here, but i dont think there assimilated humans, for if assimilated humans are this advanced, wouldnt normal humans have similar technology (if not, near the same level of technology)

just a though here, but i dont think there assimilated humans, for if assimilated humans are this advanced, wouldnt normal humans have similar technology (if not, near the same level of technology) Well when you build the Dyson sphere it lets you build a Human Starbase.

the people of Dyson are from TNG!
In the episode where scotty is found stuck in the transporter and the enterprise gets sucked into the sphere, it was said that whoever used to live in the sphere were now long gone/dead. It is still under research. It was given the name Dyson because it was a theory somebody had come up with on the same principle, just it was far too expensive to put into practise.
